Firefly, operated by DateFirefly, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to creating a safe and trustworthy environment for all our users. We strictly prohibit content or behavior that exploits or endangers children, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations on Child Endangerment.
1. Prohibited Activities and Content
We do not allow any activities or content on Firefly that:
- Facilitates the exploitation or abuse of minors. This includes child sexual abuse materials (CSAM) and any content that promotes or portrays sexualization of a minor.
- Encourages predatory behavior or grooming. For example, attempting to befriend a minor online to facilitate sexual contact or exchange sexual imagery.
- Depicts inappropriate interaction with or sexualization of minors.Any imagery or text that encourages sexual activity with or around minors is strictly forbidden.
- Involves sextortion or threats toward minors. For example, blackmailing a minor using intimate images.
- Promotes or is involved in the trafficking of a child.Soliciting or advertising a minor for commercial sexual exploitation is expressly banned.
- Contains excessive violence, harmful or dangerous activities, or adult themes that may specifically appeal to children.
If we become aware of any content involving child sexual abuse materials or behaviors, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing the content, banning the user, and reporting such content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)or the appropriate law enforcement agencies.
2. Compliance with Child Safety Laws
We comply with all applicable child protection laws and regulations. When required by law, we report confirmed cases of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or relevant local authorities.
3. Our Technology and Safeguards
- Image Detection: We utilize Google’s image detection technology to help identify and prevent the distribution of explicit images, including potential CSAM.
- User Reporting and Moderation: We actively review reports from users and take swift action to investigate and remove content that violates our policies.
4. Reporting and Feedback Mechanism
If you encounter any content or behavior on Firefly that you believe involves child exploitation or endangerment, please report it immediately. You can use our in-app reporting feature or contact us directly at:

We encourage all users to remain vigilant. If you believe that a child is in immediate danger or has been subject to abuse, exploitation, or trafficking, please contact your local law enforcement authorities right away.
5. Enforcement and Review Procedures
- Investigation: Upon receiving a report, our dedicated team will promptly investigate.
- Content Removal: If any content is found to violate our child endangerment policies, we will remove it and, when necessary, report the violation to NCMEC or local law enforcement.
- Account Action: We may issue warnings, suspend, or terminate accounts found in violation of this policy.
